will a throttle body from the 08 evo x fit on a 08 lancer na

 

I'm pretty sure it will, not 100% sure what size difference there is. I plan on test fitting my old Evo X TB into a 2011 Outlander Sport with the same 4b11 NA engine as the Lancer.

 

It will fit, but 4G69 TBs are cheaper than Evo X TB

 

I would check 2 wide evolution x has internal throttle body we have external

 

Chris did you have any issues on the electronic side using the evoX TB on the 4b11 motor, idle problems or check engine lights ect? was the swap pretty straight forward, or did it need an immediate tune?

Dead thread, probably no chance you'll reply but did you ever fit this up? I'm in the middle of putting a ralliart intake manifold on my lancer for a turbo build and the lancer TB doesn't quite fit up. So I need to know if there were any electronic issues, if so I'll need to swap back to the oem throttle body.

 

Moss507 evo x TB is a direct swap with 4B1x TB. No electrical problems, no swapping side covers etc. It is only the 4G throttles that give grief.

 

That's great news. In another thread TEXAS TRAVISTY said the only issue was that the stock tune couldn't account for the increase in airflow and pushed the car into limp mode when above 80% throttle without a tune. Good thing I'm going to get one anyways.
