i have an 03 lancer es and i have an evo ecu from evo 7 and i was wondering other than a tactrix, What would i need to install it?

Guessing he doesnt realize you can flash evo roms into his Lancer ecu.

 

the reason why i asked is cause i have an 02 wrecked evo (not recoverable) that im pulling parts to convert my lancer es to a front wheel drive evo and i already have an evo ecu and the closest tuning facility is 350 miles a way

 

You dont need it unless your wanting to run ecu controlled boost or something. I have had an evo rom flashed into my car for over a year and tune it just like I would an evo in respects to having the same tuning capability as evos.

 

I didn't realize it till I went down to English racing and they told be. Is the evo ecu any bigger then ours or do they hold the same amount of data?

 

Evo ecu is I identical with physical size. Storage is also the same even same processor I do believe. I have had the Tephra V7 modded evo rom in my car with big maps, cel flash all the goodies and works great.
