Valve replacement? advice needed.

Ok so my car runs like a tractor at idle, and I diagnosed/ changed every possible part (spark plug/wires, injectors, egr valve clean up, vacum leaks, timing) even after all of that the car would still shake and sound like a tractor at idle, so I finnaly got it compression tested for 35$ and the guy at the garage told me that my valves are not closing properly. So my question is what should I do? I know I will have to take the head off and change the head gasket but do I just get new valves or buy another head?
Oh and is it safe to use the car as it is know?
Video of how it is running now: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWG8o...Lc4Mw3i4war74=

I would start with just cleaning/bleeding the lash adjusters to see if that helps. The lash adjusters are basically just hydraulic spacers between the rocker arm and the valve stem. If they are collapsed or dirty (which happens), then the valve lash will be way off and that can cause idle issues and make the car sound like a diesel. You just pull the valve cover off then unbolt the rocker arm shafts. Careful as the lash adjusters are up inside the rocker arm itself so they could fall out (which isnt a big deal just dont lose them). Use a magnet to pull any out that dont fall out. Use the procedure described in the fsm to clean and bleed them then reinstall.

I would do that call him and find out the precise pressure was for each cylinder. Definately do the lash procedure though its not hard I have done it 3-4 times

Ok well hopefully 150 on all four and if this is the case then thats fine and is not causing your issue. Im sticking with lash adjusters. You can pull them out clean them out and have them back in the car and running in probably 2 hours if you have never done it before.

A tip for you should you decide to do the lash. When you reinstall them leave the lash adjusters out and put the rocker shaft/rocker arms on the head and put the bolts in but only barely thread them in a couple turns just so you know the bolt is in. then lift each rocker arm up one at a time and slip the lifter up into the arm. Much easier like this than trying to install the rocker assembly with the lifters in trust me. Also make sure the couple small holes in the shafts are facing down as these are oil passeges.

I know I should of said this before and I thought I did but I re-read my post and I forgot to say that this "problem" happened after I bored my intake manifold (4G93 intake) to match the throttle body (there was a tiny step)
