Parts for Cylinder Head rebuild.

Hey all I am trying to find out if there are any "upgrade" parts we can use when doing a cylinder head rebuild. I think I have heard of valve springs from RPW or something on these forums.

I am looking to replace valves, valve springs and lash adjusters (aka lifters)

edit: found the RPW valve springs in case anyone else was interested.

i dont know if there is an upgrade for the lifters, but i have swapped from the hydraulic to the mirage solid lifters...not really a noticeable difference if any, but it beats having to replace them if they fail...although you will need to adjust them every so often

What do the upgraded springs do from a performance point of view? Are you planning on doing a valve job as well?

I am in the same boat as you, just got my head off this morning cause of a blown head gasket.

From what I understand so far the springs help when you are in higher RPMs.. which I tend to redline my car almost every day.

A good little read I found from another forum:
