Long time reader first time poster.

Hello everyone, I have used this website for some time on the how to's and other information, and you guys are awesome.

I am the proud owner of a 2004 Lancer ES. I bought the car NEW back in Feb of 2004 and driven it every day since. It is a one owner (ME!). I love the car, and have took great care of it over the years.

It has been a fantastic car, and I have done a few things to it, from a appearance stand point. ( please see attached )

The car just rolled over 135,000 miles, and still runs like a dream. It's quite and smooth as I have left it stock.

I just got a carbon fiber hood for it, and I should have really done some more research as the one I bought has a slight bow in it.

Anyway I have more questions about some mods I am wanting to do, but I will post them in the appropriate area.

Really wanting to keep the Mods to a minimum, small things like intake, pulleys and exhaust.

See you guys around!

Welcome! This car looks so clean for it's age. I admire that you have taken good care of it. Much respect

Thanks! I have took good care of her over the last ten years. The engine and interior are just as nice as the outside.

It has been through two kids and two relationships, one wife, one front end collision ( to which I just had to replace the passenger side front fender everything else was good ), and of course my younger age running it around like a race car.

Thank god for full synthetic....

It is pretty cool to see some of the wear spots where I always put my elbow when driving and such. Really makes you feel good to look at it after ten years and it still turn a head or two.

I wanted to get the front wrapped, but I couldn't find a piece the size I wanted, and it would have cost me $1400 to get everything done.

I got a great deal on the CF hood, so I went with it.

BTW it looks good my friend!

Thanks took me about two days total and I did it by myself . I got the vynl off amazon 60inch by 59inches . The best part was I bought one sheet for 30.00 and becuase of poor shipping i wrote them a letter and they sent me another one for free!! So I used the new one for the hood and the other one for the trunk cause it was still usable and in good condition!

Nice, I used some for my headlights and gas tank cover.

Here are a few pics. I just redid my brakes.

Not bad for a ten year old car huh?
