Balance Shaft removal

okay i haven't torn apart the bottom end of the engine so i don't even know if our cars come with them, but do we have balance shafts situated in the oil pan?? i know the sentra se-r spec v has balance shafts that are used to reduce vibration and help balance the engine and also know that there is a kit for them that removes the shafts and replaces them with a plate freeing up about 10hp. my question is this: i found a company (RRE) that sells a balance shaft removal kit for the evo and was wondering if it would work on our cars. here is the link to the kit, scroll down a bit to see it:

There shouldn't really be one for the lancer. It's not making that much power to worry about vibration from the SOHC design.
