Short Ram or Cold Air Intake

I have a 2002 oz rally lancer. And I want to do an intake on it. Don't really know which I should do. Any suggestions????

An SRI is easier to do but you have to get creative to isolate the intake from the hot air of the engine compartment, a CAI would be easier to isolate the hot air as the filter would sit lower, but routing is an issue if you have an a/t. So with either one you have to get a bit creative.

Neither is going to give you much if any increase in HP on these 94 motors.

I would just get a K&N or Spectre air filter and call it a day.

I know this sounds haggard, but it works. As metalsoft1 said, get a cheap spectre filter from your local auto parts store. Then you can either order or make yourself a MAF adapter to make that work. SRI for 20 bucks lol. Take it a step further in the haggard direction and route some dryer tubing from under your headlight in that empty section to right under that filter. CAI for 20-25 bucks, but most people will laugh at it. Hey whatever works right?

I have been reading about issues if trying to go with a san sri or a cai..... will the stock computer re-learn the curve? or will I be plagued with problems?
