Angry idle problems

Hi guys, i hope everyones cars are running fine becuase i know mine isnt.

This question is for you mechanic heads out there. My car when it is idling at a stop will sit bewteen 500 and 700 on the rpm guage, but sometimes out of no where it will drop down to 400 or even 300 and then come back. and sometimes it will do the reverse- idle at 600 and jump to 700 or even 1000. ni am going to check all the plugs, and belts, and spark plugs today. if you guys can think of anything else that i should take a look at that would be great. Happy racing!!!

I had talked to a friend and they had mentioned checking the timing? Does anyone know how to do this?

Not sure about the timing, but since it's computer controlled, I would expect a CEL if that happens. Is this when the AC is on? Because mine idles differently (higher revs when the compressor turns on, lower when it turns off) when using the AC.

abnormal idle rev

it is abnormal because of ur throttle body
there is a gear inside the throttle body that actuates the opening and closing of inlet of air inside the throttle body

here in philippines, there is a store where they modify throttle body. they buy surplus from japan and then they get what can they sell. they get the gears inside the surplus throttle body and put it in my throttle body. no need to buy a new throttle body and it just cost about P3000 = US$54

My car always has done that right from new. Yet when it is cold It idles at 2000 RPM. In the winter I dont even have to use the gas peddle to get my car moving (clutch fully disenguaged) I just figured it was normal.

cars run better in cooler, wet weather.... example.. the other morning there was a low cool fog. my car was moving really fast for a normal day... and then at noon it was hot as **** and the car barely rolled.
