2003 Lancer 4g69 swap

We finally removed the engine but the trans is sliding off because we had removed the 17 mm torque bolts. I'm not sure what to do. Shouild I remove the trans and have it clean or just try and slide it back over?

Yeah, we finally looked up some videos and turned the torque converter on to the shaft coming out of the transmission. The next issue we were having was trying to remove the nut on the inside of the firewall of the ralliart.

Guys, i am prepping to do this swap in my lancer. I have 2 issues. The engines available from japan are missing the original key and sensor rings for the imobilizer so they engines wont start. Secondly. How different is the wiring? Ik the lancers are very similar. My biggest concern is figuring out the wiring. Is it just a plug and play or do I have to cut some wires? P.s. my lancer has a 4g18 orginally.
