I've got a 2005 lancer es, i bought about a year ago, ive loved the car, but the issue is about a 2 months ago the car would not start on its own, it would start with the turn of the key, then stall, now if i give alittle throttle, and then back off of it, it will idle low at about 4 to 5 hundred till it gets into closed loop and hot, then its idles about high 700 to 900ish. Ive been reading around here, and as well other places and researching at my workplace what the deal is. Ive tried the following
-intake and exhaust gaskets because its 16 years old
-throttle position sensor, and idle air sensor.
-my father wanted to try the adjustment screws, but that did not work neither
-i put a map sensor on it because it would not read like it should
-maf sensor as well.
That has been the past 2 ish months of trial and error, troubleshooting and all and im puzzled to hell, can someone please give some insight to this
