timing adjustments?
is it possible to adjust the timing on the 4g94 in my 03 oz? before this i had a mighty max with the 4g64 and after adjustting the timing it had a bit more pep,but of course that had a distributor and the lancer doesnt which brings me to my question. any help would be appreiciated

ignition timing can be controlled via ECU, valve timing is purely mechanical...i haven't looked into anything for my 2003 4G94 lancer, but on my 4G69 Ralliart, i'm running a turbo setup on the stock ECU by remapping (reflash). I believe there is tuning software that works with your ECU...
Original poster is referring to ignition timing. On the old 4G64, you were rotating the distributor to advance the ignition timing. You could do similar with adjusting the cam position sensor, but unfortunately, it is fixed. I suppose if you really wanted to get creative and slot the holes, it would work. However, be careful, to much advance, and you'll create engine killing pre-detonation.
