Talking 4G63DET Swap

I recently got a hold of a 4G63DET jdm, but haven't been able to find a place to install it. If anyone out there knows any place in California Los Angeles area that can do this, help me.

For the most part it's only a 4G63 is a 4G63 since there has only been very few (Galant GSX, 2G Eclipse GS, some Hyundais I think as well) that have had the motor without the turbo.

Well yeah, we know the 4G63 is from the Evo and the SR20DET is from the Silvias. Hehehe...so which one is it? And just how are you going to drop the engine into the Lancer? Have you ever read THIS

All Mitsubishi engines that are like the eclipse engines are 4G63's or 4G63T. Evolution engines are classified as 4G63DET because of the differences they have with thier predecessors, the 4G63t. The evolution engines camshafts are hollowed out, along with other specifications that have not yet been given to me. As far as how I'm going to do it,...first the engine mounts need to be placed in, then the engine, after that, i will keep the engine in stock setup, but make a changeover to a fwd keep the rear wheels free. Somewhat of a real custom job... this way it should work, but im in the process of finding parts... my friends (confidential) are going to do the work
and if anyoen is looking for a good body kit, wait about a month... im having custom wide body done on my car

mmm....I read the tech spec for all of the EVOs and I never come to the "4G63DET" engine code. well

Anyhow, only the VII has the hollow camshaft. If you don't know all the specs of that "JDM 4G63DET" engine that you're getting, I suggest you go do a research before paying a dime for it. Chances are it might not fit into your US Lancer.

My 4g93 has a plaque on the motor stating as 4g93E, but I know the "E" is only reserved for the DOHC version.
