Evo Catback on ES

All,

Buddy of mine has a 2003 ES (Auto) and I have an Evo.

My question is, can the stock Evo catback fit on an ES?? I have replaced mine with the HKS Hi-Power and the stock Evo exhaust is just taking up space in my garage...

Any thoughts??

i wouldn't think so, the rear drive shaft forced the exhaust to be located differently in the two models i think, i haven't looked under both models side by side though. if it looks much different it prolly is.

We will probably get his Lancer in the air within the next week and see if it fits...

why would he want to do it anyways? what size piping is a stock evo catback?

eh screw all those ppl that posted haha

make some custom hangers and just hang it in there.

it can't be more than 2.5" stock anyways. so it should be fine.

of course some 'modification' will be done, but it should be alright, give it a try
