what happens to Mass Air Flow Sensor(i think?) after a cold air intake installation?
(i am not even sure if that is what its called)
I've bought an AEM Cold Air Intake, i am just wondering how would i plug it in when there is a sensor plugged in right on top of the stock Air Filter, I am not sure whether the American Lancers have the same setup, but that is how the Canadian Lancers are setup.
Anyhow, what to do with that sensor? would the ECU of the car be affected by removing it? i am sure if it's plugged into the ECU, then it must serve some purpose and removing it must cause some sort of a disturbance in the ECU?
thanks in advance.

Yes. You place the MAS (Mass airflow sensor) between the two pipes. Once the MAS is installed between the two AEM pipes, you connect the wire-harness back up to the MAS. Your AEM installation instructions should show this with pictures, mine did.
If you have problems, let me know, and I'll go take detailed pictures for you.
