CP Pistons, any compression you want, also can do overbores. Includes wrist pins, and their import rings which are supposed to be pretty good... and All told, shipped to you anywhere in the U.S. Would be 670. Lead time is the downer... it is about 4 weeks.

I'm going to work on rods for you guys... I'll keep you updated.

I have contacts in on the rods. I'm goign to go Oliver for now most likely. It's what I'm using in my race car, so I have great faith in them... they hold very well as in my Mazda with the same rods I'll make 300+ as a base, and nearly 400 if I crank everything on my car (about 26 psi of boost). So we'll see. I'd estimate they will come in at around 700 bucks... I'm doing what I can, but I realize this isn't exactly a major price break for you guy (and will cost less than if you ordered them direct yourselves). So I'll keep you guys up to date as i hear things. But the line on the pistons is open and once I'm approved on here I can get them for you at any time!

Have a good one,

Steve

We can take anyone's head and do a full port and polish to gasket match on the intake and exhaust ports with knife edging runners as is appropriate. Also, do angle work on the valves and backcutting. This can be done effectively without a flow bench and for a reasonable price because we will not do any oversizing of the valves. As long as you don't oversize valves you don't typically have to worry about reducing velocity and thus most things that you will do will result in an increase in airflow. It may not allow for the absolute maximum flow, but a standard set of "safe" cuts will generate a massive improvement in overall flow of the head without risking being too agressive and reducing flow due to slower port velocities. We'd end up receiving your head. Doing the machining and getting that back out the door as soon as the machine shop permits.

As far as intake manifolds. We would bore out all ports to match the gasket size which would match a ported head intake port size as well. The interior would be polished appropriately and the overall ability of the IM would be increase as well! I have to check prices but I expect a port on the IM would run you guys about 100 bucks... I have to recheck with my machine shop to verify that though at this point. I could also do core exchange of about 150 dollars on the IM I believe (Looking for a core right now) and then you could have the IM off the bat, take off yours, and send it back for the refund on the core! That way your down time would be minimized.

So hopefully that answers the general question for you!

Later,

Steve

I'll have to see on the PandP... but it would be between 750 and 1000 (for full pandp and valve work). Just Port and polish is between 300 and 600. Valves run 18 dollars a valve plus parts. Wide range I realize but it largely depends on the configuration of the head and what the ports are. I have not gotten to look inside a Lancer head yet so I don't want to make assumptions. I'll sit down with my machinist this week and discuss it further so I know a lot more about what it will cost!

Cams... I may have a source for grinding blanks, and it is something I do want to do. but at this point it is off a ways yet.

Not at this point... However... if I could get my hands on an open diff from the Lancer I may be able to find you guys a good LSD. I could obviously get the quaife, but I'd rather provide a more economical option at this point. So I need to match ring gear diameter and spline count, and then I'd be all set

Thanks!

Well everyone is talking about more costly engine parts, I was wondering if you could make a din replacement panel for the upper din with three 52mm gauge cut outs. Maybe make it with some brackets that could attach to the stock radio brackets/mounting point. Just a suggestion, because I'm really too busy with my turbo kit install to make one of my own.

yes we can and do make exactly that kind of plate (look at our website).

Unfortunately... I think I'm going to have to resign from here for selling. This forum's advertisement rules and costs are abslutely prohibitive to a small company like mine. This board charges 2-5 times that of any other board I've worked with to date (several Mazda boards, and the MiniCooper forums)...

Contact us if you like, but for now I'm going to have to suspend any sale and business related activities from this site to follow the rules appropriately.

www.msprotege.com - TurfBurn and NSNMotorsports

www.triplezoom.com - TurfBurn

Also adding some WRX, T-Bird, Eclips, and Mini stuff over time as well and appropriate boards as necessary.
