GI: Custom products: Phenolic spacers, gauge plates, heathshields, and electronics

Hey guys,

Long time for me since I've been on here... been SUPER busy with many many things including building a 400+hp Mazda Protege that I'll have ready this spring, as well as working on getting going to sell lots of customs parts for cars like the Mazda's and the Lancers.

So with that said, I wanted to see how much interest there was here for products like that. We currently have the ability to machine any kind of custom sheetmetal you would want! Also, we have developed a new thermal gasket for the Mazda that we can also develop in rapid fashion for the Lancer that will drop your intake manifold temperatures by well over 15 degrees. This, along with custom electronics and the like allow us to do a lot of things in small volume to fit specific needs. If there seems to be a genuine and solid interest in these kinds of products for the Lancer community we will pursue a vendor status on these boards and get going for you guys. So please give me a shout out with your thoughts and wishes and we'll try to see what we can do.

Shout out to Boe, HobieKopek, RRM, and all you others from the site that were always so kickass when I was on here daily before!

Thanks much guys!

Steve

We are also likely to do some EVO stuff as well... but...

We are currently making the gaskets that we can turn out for the Lancer rather quickly. Also, we make Manual Boost Controllers that are superior to most on the market. I'd admit that the Hallman's are up there though and are great pieces of work. But for 49 a pop ours are some of the best out there and dead accurate with no creep or spike!

A lot of our stuff is turbo system related, but we will be adding to the NA type applications. I'm also hoping/planning to make air scoops for brakes to keep them cool in the near future. Additionally, we can do powder coating and nickel plating and a lot of custom sheet metal work for gauge plates, heatshields and the like.

Also going to make 2nd O2 simulators soon which will elminate any need for that O2 sensor.

Always something in the works... I may even get into carbon fiber this summer!

We have our paperwork filed to be a legal business, so that will be all taken care of soon too! Also, we will work to distribute autometer products, and start adding more items like AWR as well we hope. In the end, we should be a pretty solid source on a lot of things.

I also have a growing connection with another company that does Mazda's and Mustangs, and he has said that they are starting to search for a Lancer to do a turbo kit for. Their first Mazda turbo kit did well over 200 horse. Great company and a great guy!

Have a good one!

Heat shields and anything that can drop my intake temperature (such as the gasket) would make me very interested. <My credit card jumps out of my wallet and dances a jig>.

Anything that you can do for those of us who will be staying n/a is appreciated.

We measured temp drops of a good 15-20 degrees with our spacers in there. And that was without the TB spacer... we saw temps jump by about 5 degrees or better ( on the IM) when the coolant flowed through the TB. So definite improvement. These tests were performed on a 2.0L Mazda... but the IM is relatively similar between the two cars, as is the TB. I'll try and see about doing a limited run of the spacers for you guys soon...

anybody care to point me in the right direction as far as vendor status on here? I have to look around tomorrow night otherwise and get that covered... like to do things legitimately!

I'd buy a heatshield, as anything you'd do is better than the ugly stocker.

And since you guys do powdercoating, it would look hella nice. heh.

Put me down for one.

I would most definitly be interested in all that and more. Just the thought of more turbo applications and options for our li'l rides makes me giddy.

And welcome back, Steve. Like many n00bs who learned to use the SEARCH FUCNTION (---- ), I found your extensive contributions to this board to be absolutly invaluable.

Props and a phat bump!

I'll try and get moving on some stuff for you guys soon here then as it sounds like you guys have enough interest to support at least a beginning set of things... it may be a couple weeks as we have to move some of our cash flow around right now... but we'll get going on things for you. We are a registered business with the State of Wisconsin and you can find us and the most up to date information at www.nsnmotorsports.com

And thanks for the props! I've learned SOOO much even since I was on here that it is ridiculous! Knowledge is the best way to really get the cars going fast .

cool beans .. Just did it.

I take it RRM is your only forged source eh? I may have to work on that for you Probably can do sets of customs rods and pistons for about 1400 total. I'll have to look into it... but I will keep working at things.
