When you think it's easy..it never is!

After 2 days of 1+ hour worth of work...still cant get the damn strut bar on....you figure take off the two nuts then slap the bar on then tighten the 2 nuts back up...simple i figure and aftre runnign into darnkess two nights in a row i find myself cursing with a bloody knuckle...bar fits over the bolts fine just cant get the damn driver side nut to thread up and tighten down...tired jackin the car up and loosinging the other bolts...but no luck....i dont think the bar is sitting flat on the strut tower casue of the alrm horn is in the way...so if i ever find daylight again ima try and move the horn and give it another go...nothin is ever f'en easy!

make sure that you are on a flat surface and hammer the crap out of it with a rubber mallet bc the rrm ones are difficult to get on. PDXRalliarts ones are perfect fitment, i could jsut slip the rear one from him on, but with my kbar from rrm it took me like 30mins and bloody knuckles as well.

jack one side of the car up...or slowly and carefully hammer(with a rubber mallet) each side until both sides are on

what it is happening is that the k bar is pulling the bolt close to the hole... so even though it fits... its too close for those nuts to screw down... this happened to me... i had to screw that one down first, then all the others... took me about 30-45 min to do. you can always try grinding down the lil lip around the nut.

that much trouble to fit a kbar? what the hell. so i'm assuming rrm makes them to fit perfect with no play at all. interesting.
