I know htat this has been discussed many of times but I couldnt find a How To on it. I need to know where the tensionar is. I couldnt seem to find it (but Iam a little a Sleepy) If anyone knows where there is a how too or has done it and feels like providing me with some insite tht would be great.

BTW
Iam Talking about the Belt that goes from the Crank Shaft Pully to the Power steering pump pully and the AC Pully.

The tensioner is right above the AC compressor and below the power steering pump (if I remember correctly). It's a 14mm bolt if I remember correctly, and it's very easy to remove. I believe it's called the accessory belt though just FYI.

Correct. I don't remember which way it's threaded, but if you just give it a few turns you can see the tensioner that the bolt is attached to. You should be able to determine whether it's getting tighter or looser just by taking a peek at it.

I'm bringing this thread back. Over the weekend I went to change my belts. I found the tensioner and the bolt that goes to it. I have one big problem, no matter which way I turned it, I could not get the tensioner to loosen. Any help would be great. I really don't want to take my car to the stealership.

Look on the side for a cross bolt that locks the tensioner in place. Crack that first then the tensioner will move freely. I just did all the belts on a Galant and thats how both accessory belts are and I highly doubt it is different on our cars. FYI reverse threads are extremely uncommon especially on areas where routine maintenance is performed.
