CHEAP place to buy an exhaust?

I am interested in purchasing either the Buschur (with magnaflow muffler) or magnaflow exhaust system. I'm leaning toward the Buschur b/c it has 2.5" piping vs. 2.25". I can't seem to find anywhere cheap to buy from. I did find the Magnaflow one for $400, but the Buschur is $750. Other people seem to have gotten theirs for around $400, but I can't find anything close to that for Buschur. Is anyone seeling theirs? Are there any group buys? Does anyone want to navigate a group buy? Also, a lot of people have these systems installed, anyone have a video? Thanks for any help.

if you want 2.5 so bad, just go to a muffler shop, get yourself a magnaflow muffler and have them custom make you a 2.5 catback. my buddy went to a local muffler shop with a greddy muffler, paid the guy $120 and he made him a custom 2.5 right quick

I am thinking about doing the whole custom piping for my exhaust. Does anyone know where I can get the Greddy Evo 2 muffler? so that I can have them weld that bad boy on there?

you really wont notice much of a difference in performance between the two. the only differences you would notice is differences in size. i also told you before that 2.5" is almost pushin it on bein too big. 2.25" is just about perfect but 2" will do just as good, if not better.

Again, dyno proven gains across the powerband. Until someone either dynos their car with an intake and 2.25" exhaust or gets some results otherwise I don't see much point in the "too big" or "almost too big" argument. Besides, "almost too big" means "not too big" where I come from.

The Buschur exhaust is $375. I don't know where you got your number from unless you're including the downpipe AND high flow cat. These two things would not be included in any of the other cat-backs you might buy pre-made.

That being said, custom made may be your cheapest option. It depends upon the shops around you, and what you want the exhaust made of. If you want to DIY, Buschur makes a great exhaust both in tone and function. If you want to save money, start looking to local muffler shops.

Try here, www.performancepeddler.com as long as you call them or e-mail them they will sell you a brand new Magnaflow Cat-Back system for $315-$325 WITH SHIPPING. The only thing that you have to do is say that you belong to this forum. I think that i am going to order this one for chrismas too... Just another option to think about.
