I saw one day on the road a Silver Lancer 4 Door Base model with Rear Windshield Wiper on the back mounted on the right hand side next to the 3rd break light

Is all 03 model like that or just a strange lancer? Looks like it is a Rental in Florida

Any suggestion?

There are alot of them in Puerto Rico!
But I don't think they are new!? (I could be wrong though)

 

I wouldn't mind having a rear windshield wiper. It would have came in handy this morning.

 

where are you located? maybe they ot it as a dealer option or something

 

here in san antonio i've seen one. next time i see it i will take a picture. i really want one. i looked in the wiring diagram and we "supposded" to have the wires for it. don't quote me because i'm not an expert. but i've see those rear windshield wipers and i want them. also do they see wipers for our headlights? i wonder how that would look...

I went to pick up my rental car and I saw a Lancer on the lot with a rear wiper. I almost broke my neck looking at it. I didnt think it looked at that great, looked kinda bulky, but thats just my opinion

i seen one, isn't it a 2003 option? maybe only on certain trims. i think it's very ugly IMO.

 

I don't think it's an option for the 2003's - I just bought mine about a month and a half back. Something like a rear window wiper was never mentioned. One of the other threads makes it sound like they'll be on rentals though.

 

yeah me too. I just bought mine a few weeks ago and they never mentioned. I guess its on the rentals or maybe just a dealer option.
