Greddy bumper modification?

Hey guys I have been searching for quite awhile now looking for this topic and I got find anything. I am going to get the evo2 Greddy exhaust but it says that it requires slight bumper modifications. I am thinking it has to do with the tip melting the bumper. People who have this exhaust can you let me know how the modification went and pics please. I really want my Greddy!

Im not a pro on what that really means but what I have heard from other people is that it is really nothing. It may melt a way a little but it will eventually stop and it is nothing you will ever notice.

thats not true some of the exaust tips can get extreamly hot and its NOT just a little of the bumper a good 3 - 6 inches of ur bumper you could be haveing a hole in it.. they do have a few metal or carbonfiber bumper guards that they sell

i have had the greddy evo1 for a lil over a year now and i love it...with my stock oz bumpers it did melt the unseen part of it a little...it took the paint right off of my kenstyle rear bumper tho, but all you have to do is move the rubber hangers

if you notice melting, you can trim away some of the lip on the inside. if it does melt, it'll probably only melt a little. honestly its nothing to worry about.

I've had my Greddy EVO2 Catback and I have nothing melting. Its perfectly fine. Just mount it tight so it won't wobble. If you have afraid. You could get a little heatshield (aka sheetmetal) and mount it in the semi circle cutout in your bumper
