Turbo

I am going turbo here in a couple of weeks and i only have one concern, that is how does turbo work when you are on the freeway with RPM's higher than 3? Cause doesnt the turbo start to spool around 2600 RPM's?

Assuming the turbo starts spooling at 2600, it will definitely be flowing on the highway. A boost controller will regulate your wastegate and bov so it stays at the psi you want your turbo running; anything over and one of them will open.

thats not really true. at all. if at WOT you start makign boost at say 2500 rpm, that does not mean that your making boost EVERYTIME your above 2500 rpm. if i ease into gas in first gear i can make no boost if i so feel. if im on the freeway doing 80 and i just lightly have the gas on to keep me moving and im still over 2500 rpm this does not mean im constantly under boost. if i step on it on the freeway in 5th gear depending on how fast im already moving, i will slowly start to make more and more boost.

True, true. I actually meant to make that point that under acceleration he would boost more, especially at 3k+ rpm with the turbos he mentioned. Maybe not full boost unless he's WOT, but he'd be boosting a little bit.
