85whp is definitely not worth the 4K that it probably cost imo either, but others are as thrifty i guess. honestly tho, the lancer isnt really very cost effiecient or smart to mod.

I think the Lancer is a great car to mod. I jsut dont see the point of putting all that money into it for that little power. I think you should work on the vehicles stronger points. Like Handeling. No Lancer (not even EVO) was designed for a straignt line race.

Yes 85 WHP is a very good improvement.

Maybe I'm just in a shitty mood cause my car is in the shop and im having withdrawls.

I think those are some good numbers for a stage 1 kit, get ahold of boe about your a/f and enjoy.

Danno, numbers mean different things to different people. a gain of almost 85 hp to the wheels seems pretty decent to me, but to others that may seem costly.

As the old saying goes: Speed costs money, how fast do you wanna go?
fkrzo who has the stage 1 supercharged kit from Rippmods ran a dyno. whp was 181 and i forgot the trq,. lemme search and when i find the trq i'll edit. i believe it was 160

That little power is pretty damn nice in the Lancer, I understand some people would rather spend their money on a higher priced car that may be more suited initially for a straight line race, but what is so nice about having a turbo'd Lancer is that look you get from people when you just beat their 25+K car with a 10K car and a 4K turbo. You also earn Respect, for some that doesn't mean much but in racing... its everything.

You know what they say, "it doesn't matter if you win by an inch or by a mile..."
