Speaking of paying for a Lancer, if anyone is on the fence and was thinking about doing No Payments for a Year and Never Pay Interest, I guarantee you only have until 1/31 to take advantage of it. That program as structured is going away.

If you want to make your payments starting right away and your credit is less than perfect, you have until 1/31. Until tomorrow Double Diamond approvals get the same rates as Triple Diamond approvals.

If you want to lease, wait for a couple of days.

That is all.

Purchased 10-11-01, 2002 OZ rally, no spoiler, for $21,000 total (including tax, tag, title) out the door price. got 6.8% apr for 60 months. Put a $500 downpayment at purchase, monthly payments are $350. Also got extended warranty. In my opinion, I got horse ****ed in the deal. I wouldnt pay more than 17k total for that car. Good luck, don't let them screw you

well, i was a first time buyer, didnt have any experience. didnt know what i was doin, and remember this was when it FIRST came out, mine had just got on the lot that day, they didnt even have the stickers on it yet. it was still in the back of the dealership waiting to be tagged and stuff. but it all wont matter when i sell it for an RX-8

As pjal said..."The Mirage has been phased out and the Lancer is/will be taking its place at the bottom rung of the Mitsu product line. " not a real fan of the lancer anymore
