Man it was awesome i'm still shaking. I got it on video tape i just need your help to upload it on this site. I have no idea how to do this anybody??? One more thing a guy at the booth said it will be here sooner than 2003 he said july this year.

nah, not july of this year, not possible. No way, I'd expect maybe November or maybe January. Too early, if it was july we'd get some word from some Insurance companies or some sort of crash testing facilities and maybe even a word or two from popular car mags who have tested out the car or something. Usually some sort of early predicition, although motor trend has tested the car and predict it to me late this year, motor trend has hired a room full of people who hate numbers and never get them right.

 

What kinda format did you tape it in??

If it's in the mini-dv format you could send it out to me and I'll post it

The Mitsubishi Evolution is a great car ... I hope for your sake that it reaches U.S. soon ... ... Too bad that you didn´t get the EVO 6 which in my opinion has better looks ... it has more "bad ***" looks than the EVO 7 ... ...

I was at the show today too (Jan 5th, Sat)...
According to the guy at the booth... he said mid 02... EVO will come
a bit less hp than the euro spec version... (euro's have 265hp?
according to him)... evo will come to US with recaros and brembos...
he still do not know where the front mount intercooler will go as
Mitsu is still working on that issue... price will be mid to high 20's..

But from the press release... it seems like it will come spring of 03...

 

I think some of the guys are just tryin to hype it up....Tryin to make people put deposits down and what not.

Obviously it would be kewl if it came over this summer, but I just don't really see that happening.

Just realized that the car was actually slated to be released in the US market so I had to come over and share in the celebration. Things are going to get mighty interesting in the turbocharged AWD sedan segment...can't wait!
