^what do you mean by stock kyb's? these are the gr-2 premium gas filled shocks and way better than stock shock/struts. not as good as tein basics or ss dampers but if you already lowered your car with lowering springs not lower than 2 inches these shocks will work great for replacement of the stock ones. i am not sure with the performance on the sleeve over type coilover suspensions like the ground controls and skunk2's for those who have them might just have to wait for the agx's or get the tein's instead.

as for the price i haven't checked it coz ive been busy with work this past few days and i was in norcal (san jose milpitas area) last week so never got the chance on making some calls on the price but imo these are a nice cheap upgrade on our cars.

Your Lancer has KYB struts/shocks stock. That's what I mean.

I want to know what makes these new struts better. More dampening? Stiffer? Adjustable?

it doesn't offer dampening not even adjustable just better grip due to it's gas filled shocks stiffer? maybe but can take the punishment of lowering springs not lower than 2 inches.

it's aftermarket so it's better than what we have right now

The word "naive" comes to mind.

I'll assume it's stiffer. Thanks.

who's naive? i didn't say that aftermarket parts are all better than stock. i just said it is better than what we have on our stock suspensions right now and it is a good improvement at least we as consumers/enthusiasts can choose whatever parts we want for our cars we have our own preferences.. some like it and some do not.

we will know the difference between the two when somebody from this forum buys it eventually we we'll have answers by then but for now this is good news for me since i do not race my car all i need is a good nice ride for everyday use

I understand what you just posted.

But if you look at the post I quoted, you did imply that anything aftermarket is better than anything stock.

And I was just kidding. I'm sorry if I offended.

Huh? Are you asking where to buy them? If so, then any online KYB dealer, and RRM has them.
