another reason... he said his o2 sensor is not in... which means his ecu is probably in closed loop mode... so probably his piggy isnt working and he is running nice and rich

I'm not 100% sure about the closed loop... Rhyzin, myself and others have pretty much verified that the CEL from the 2nd O2 doesn't effect ECU mapping (i.e. doesn't send it into closed loop) because we can still make eManage stall the engine out at idle by removing more fuel than combustion will support.
It's worth looking into, and I gave a little advice in his other thread on that topic.

I tried this tonight. in 3rd doing 45MPH (approx 2500RPM) to 80 MPH took about 7 seconds. In 2nd gear 45MPH = about 4500 RPM to 80 MPH took about 5 seconds.

yeah... but that is if it goes out it will be in open loop. He removed his first o2 sensor all together... i would think that would throw it into a closed loop situation. Why dont you go try engineerboy? go unplug the first o2 sensor start it up, drive it around the block then do a -40% fuel adjustment on the emanage and see if it works?

edit: sounds kind of mean/sarcastic, im being serious though.

a) I'm lazy
b) don't care because it's not something I have to deal with.
c) I have to go to work
d) I DID have the 1st o2 sensor out of the header (while still connected to its harness) and didn't get a CEL on Sunday. I was seeing if it would give a CEL if I plugged a WBO2 into the header bung and just left the 1st O2 sitting out. after 5 minutes no CEL, but the exhaust leak from not plugging that hole was irritating at best.

n1te is just gonna have to let us know what he did to fix it....

Also.. ever since I've had it unplugged my car has been stalling sometimes and not starting up... it starts up for a second then shuts off... gotta turn the key and hold it for 3 seconds for it to start up and stay on too rich?

I think it's been mentioned but you would have gotten to 80 faster if you got closer to redline in third. You added a second or two by shifting early.

I missed a shift into second today so I'll shut up now... I felt so dumb. When are we getting together next man? I want to see your headers now that they are installed...
