Still having problems w/ cf hood install...

Ok i have the evo 7 bumper installed and it seems to be fine. but when i went to install the hood again; i removed the rubber ...bumps? anyway there should be no problem w/ hood; well when i try to close it; it wont latch all the way. is this a common problem? also when i try to push down to see if i can get it to latch the headlights seem to be in the way a little; it seems like the latch hook is not long enough; this was a perfect fit on an oz; whats wrong here?
thanks; im in middle of install so anything you can say will help immediatly....

thanks again,
heath

which hood? IT or Accolade? I'm assuming its the short Evo7 hood and not one with a stock grill attached?

have you tried the steps on accolades website to fit a hood? maybe the bolts need to be loosened to fit it?

I have a problem with my cf hood.. and i know the answer too it. just dont wanna put it on untill my new rims arrive...(i refuse to let my car look half assed lol) ok... i know that for sure it closes all the way... i did a test fit with out the stock hinges/bolts and it closes.. i need to move the hood down, closer to the bumper, but the tightness of the stock hinges wont let me.

so if u have the same problem that i do then your gonna have to be willing to
make the stock holes (the ones that the 4 bolts go into) Oval shaped. You can do that with metal drill bits. This will give you more room to move your hood foward so it can close all the way! my good friend imajinmyfx had to do this to his cf hood and everything works and closes tight n secure!.... hope that helps you / gives more insight!

if you can close your hood all the way with out the hood being bolted to the hinges by the windshield it will work
