Maybe a cheap solution would be to get on of those intake sheild things, I think RRM makes them, that why you don't have to buy anything else and I am pretty sure they hold your filter still. I think they are CF for the bling factor. Okay???!!

 

Yeah, i took the filter off, so now i'm gonna just wait and probably just buy a INJEN SRI or K & N Typhoon or something. uhmm, so yeah. thanks for the heat shield suggestion.
