RRM strut bar fitment?
You might want to get your alignment checked sometime though. I though whenever you put springs on a car you are supposed to get an alignment. When I got mine put on, thats what they recommended. I have a dealership by my house that has an alignment machine you can just drive over going about 2mph and it tells you if you need an alignment or not. Its free too.
(not the alignment, just the test is free)

When I put it on I started checking my tires for abnormal wear very carefully, that's the biggest sign of mis-aligment, now, 2 sets of tires later, they still wear in a nice even pattern
It's not "when you get springs, get an alignment" - it's "whenever you remove the suspension and replace it."
Hence, adding a strut bar doesn't mean you need to be aligned. It's when you start disassembling, especially the bottom of the suspension.

yeah, adding a strut bar is not going to throw off your alignment enough that you will have any problems. At least it shouldn't. I have an RMR strut tower bar and I had to modify the hell out of it to get it to seat right on the towers. I had to drill out some of the holes, and I had to grind some of the metal off the top to get it to clear the lip on the top of the firewall. Then on top of that I had to use a rubber mallet to bang it down till I could get the nuts to thread. I thought it was a little much for a damn strut bar, but then I did some checking and quite a few people have problems getting non-adjustable strut bars onto their cars. But I've had mine on for a month now and I like it. Definitley corners better, and have no alignment or any other issues.

OH MY GOD! i tried installing the bar today. I got the bar in and when i tried to ut the nuts back in, i realized that the passenger side nut never got tightened. So i tried taking it back out AND IT DIDNT COME BACK OUT! the nut turned but it didnt move either up nor down. After 2 hours of trying like crazy, like i pry'ed the bottom of the bar and stuffs. I got the nut out and when the nut was out, THE SCREW HAS BEEN TOTALLY WORN AND THE THREAD IS TOTALLY GONE! and same for the nut... DAMN THIS STRUT BAR! i shouldnt have tried to force it in at the first place.... HELP! i think i have to take my car to a shop to get the screw that is sticking out from the strut (1 of the 3) replaced.. ro is there an easier way? and does anyone know what size the nut is? thanks a lot!

and what can i do with my stripped screw and nut now? im driving with only 2 screws attached on the passenger side.... i was planning to go to the dealer monday and tell them to fix it. Im gonna say something like i found this nut on the ground in my garage when i went out one day and i poped the hood trying to look where its suppose to be, then when i try to put it back on i eff'ed up. Does this story work? or will my car break down before i reach the dealer....:-(?

wow, I"m not sure what to say. I know that I had to work to get it on my car but never thought it would cause you this kind of trouble. I have no idea about what the dealer would say or on how to go about replacing that screw. I've never taken my strut assemblies off. Wish I had an answer for you off the top of my head. I'll keep watching this thread and see if anyone else I know might have an answer for you. Even if it was used from me, I'd talk with RRM and see what is up with the bar not fitting on your 04. They have some of the best customer service around so see what they can tell you.
Man dude, you must have done something wrong. I got my RMR from Doug here on the forums, it came off an 02 and went right on my 05. I had to jack the front of the car up from the center, drop both struts out of their upper mounts, put the bar into place and slide the struts back into their upper mounts. Tightened it up and all is well now. I think jacking it up and dropping both struts let the outside ends of the car sag enough for the bar to have the extra 1mm or 2 it needed to go on with ease.
I got the RDD rear strut, and it was easier than the front to install, I had jo jack one side up and push in on the bottom of the wheel to get the top to move enough for that side to slide on easily. Once on I tapped the bar lightly with a rubber mallet the rest of the way down then tightened up the nuts again.
Arnold, you shouldn't have any problems driving on 2 nuts as long as you're not whipping around corners. No racing until that's fixed, but it won't break down on the way to the dealer... at least not from your strut nut.
