bought some new bulbs!

hey guys i finally found a pair of bulbs for my healights that look exactly like the hid ones on the expensive cars we see on the road! they are called platinum blue hid bulbs paid $50 for the pair with a 1 year warrenty they are blue in the bulb and blue on the road i will post pics tonight so you guys can see!

i bought them at a sound system shop near my home its called rays electronics very good products he has! he can get anything! at a good price!

my bulbs look exactly like the real thing!!! my friend has the hid kit in his civic and my bulbs look alot better than his as far as looks and performance and i saved a good $300 but the shop does not have a websight but i can give you a phone number mayb you can order some from him???

Someone's getting mighty excited over some colored glass bulbs =x

Post your pics up of your headlights being on at night... and then I'll post a pic of my real HIDs and you tell me if yours looks better or even close to being real HIDs... =]

well the only thing im excited about is savin over $300+ on my bulbs and ive pulled up next to bmw's and mercedes cars with hid's and mine look just as good as theres and my friends has hid's and my bulbs are alot better than his!

HID is alot brighter than filament bulbs and draw less wattage.

i dont know mannnn..cause ive been buying these crappy a** BLUE TINTED GLASS bulbs that claim to be like 8000k and crap, and they're just colored glass. seriously. i threw my stocks back in, cause they're wayyy brighter and i'm just going to wait ..until i get the real thing...but i'm not knockin ya man.,.maybe u do have some good quality bulbs, but for $50 i sure as hell hope so!

I wanna see.. I have Eurolite plasma purple bulbs.. they are pretty bright, but nothing like HID's. I paid around 50 bux for mine too.. but they are not nearly anything even close to HID.

Sylvania SilverStar - 20 bucks each at any auto store. Crisp white light, similiar to HID, just a tad less, but much cheaper. (Im still p*ssed that 05's did come with HID, only with the leather and sunroof package.) But these do a nice job. FYI, in some states blue, blue/green, or purpleish headlight colors are illegal. If those donut chasers have nothing better to do (i.e. catching criminals) they can pull you over to harass you about you head light color. Here is the link to the SilverStar site -

ive had silver stars before and i did like them but they always burned out on me all the time!
