Question Need Help with Intake

Ok I tried to post this up before but i couldn't find it. Ok im looking to get an intake for my Lancer 02 Oz Rally Auto Trans. I have been looking at these 2. The one i want the most is the Red AEM 1 (2nd link) the guy i talk to said it would fit but it looks like it doesnt. I would like to know some opions on which one is better and if the AEM 1 will fit and if you guys know of a better intake for my car plz let me know.
Thank.

def. go with the k&n typhoon. its an sri and will take no effort to install. looks and sounds good and overall there isnt much of a difference in power between the two. i just installed my typhoon and posted some pics https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=137870.

you CAN go with the aem one but will require more work to move stuff around to make space for it.

looks like the one you want is a cold air intake which wont fit on automatic transmission unless you relocate your battery. the SRI from the first link should fit

injen SRI will fit! But more important question is how much money you are willing to spend!

automatics should either get short ram intakes. or get custom piping for cold air. the battery on the front gets in the way of most if not all cold air intakes.

i bought mine from a user on these boards. the red i have is the only kind they have i THINK. you can always paint it i guess.

btw these dont have heatshields but i found a pic where this guy used what looks to be the injen splash guard or w/e. its too small for the filter but im sure it helps.
