a long time ago someone was actualy fitting these to the interior IIRC. Run a search for "Diamond plate" or "Metal floormats" and look in late 03 to mid 04.....

Don't spend more then $15 for them. First time you use them they get scuffed and scratched to hell. I got some "blemished" ones from a friend for my Golf, they where in his GTI.

Used them in the winter, they protect the carpet fairly well ^_^.

I've owned a set of them for about 2 years now. I bought them for my first Evo and when that car was totaled, I pulled them out and put them in my next Evo. They don't get "scuffed and scratched to hell" the very first time you use them. They last a long time and are very easy to clean. I wouldn't get the ebay ones, though. I'd actually get them from a company that makes them properly and has round edges, so they don't end up cutting through the carpet.

U.S. Speed is where I got mine. I highly recommend them if you don't want to deal with the factory floor mats anymore.

^don't understand why people think there ugly. I love those! Wouldn't pay 100 bucks for floor mats though.

Just look at the cost of OEM floormats.. They are like $250+
But.. I am a fan of either factory floormats.. or the diamond plate. They look sweet.
