thanks illegalakkord. Yeah, for those who have suggested sanding it and repainting : i don't want to paint it anymore. lol. i just want my stock crappy grey dash now. it was just stupid of me to paint it while in the car. Asking the dealership about the dash is a GOOD iDEA..i might make a few phone calls tomorrow.

Okay guys. I called Mitsu Up today, and they charged $275 for they "thought" was the part [over the phone], so i was like ' hell nah'. I went to the local salvage yard which is like a mile from my house and i went to school w/ one of the workers there a looonng time ago, and he found a wrecked lancer in the yard, and NO sh*t, there was a perfectly fine dashboard that i need off an 04' lancer. So he's only chargin me $50 frickin' bucks man to take it off and put it in my lancer. How sweet is that?!

i wanna know the paint code for the evolution/ralliart/OZ Rally interior pieces, so i can be as close as i can - as far as matching - when i finally buy the dash.

So you got it all worked out? cause if you still need to take the dash apart, theres a thread on DIY changing like every frickin light in your car and i found it really easy to take the entire dash apart.

oh yeah ive seen that DIY, and there aren';t any lights on the part of the dash i need to take apart. lol. its from the glovebox all the wway over to the steering wheel.
