Get rid of it..if i had the cash I would sell my car in a heartbeat as well...go with a used WRX, Evo, used GS-T/X, used Twin Turbo Supra, 3000GT, 300ZX....you have many options...but i suggest starting off with a Turbocharged platform...These platforms usually come with well designed chassis with spot welds and suspension uprades as well as huge opportunities of power with the stock internals and turbocharger/s. Just my .02

TT supra...omg, you can find a variety of used ones under and around 20k...i heard thier transmission were "bulletproof" ...but as the other members said...give the OZ to your sister and find another car, you'll both be happy =)

hmm thanks for all the advice everyone...kinda sucks, i already put some TEIN coilovers, slammed 2inches, slotted rotors, ralliart grill, SRI, strut bar, and a couple of other minor things into my lancer.

but you all posted exactly what i was thinking...it's just DAMN a stage 2 turbo on an oz would be so damn sexy. Oh btw i have about $4,000.00 in my checking account that I was saving for the turbo. It wasn't to tough I make about $1,950.00 salary of course. It's not a lot but it's decent for living in the bay area

oh I wasn't actually thinking about buying a japanese car this time. I really like the BMW M5. Or the R32 VW hatchback.

pics of the very rare R32 VW:

This is what i did and might work for you in a different way i have and Evo SRT4 and a lancer oZ. My mom loves the OZ so i gave it to her because it was paid off, so is the evo. I bought an srt4 for my daily driver fun fast and has a warranty. Works great for me.

Wow, that's a big price range right there, M5 or R32......i assume you want a used M5. As for the R32, it's a really nice car.....AWD, 6-speed, big V6 engine, and a really nice interior. M5 is obviously a bad *** car as well.....you'll have fun with whatever car u choose!

ya i've seen used older BMW M5's for $20-25,000.00. I think a new one is around $45,000.00 so yes definitely going for a used one. Well...i have about 4 months to think it through *When my sister becomes 16*

Alright, just clarifying a little. I would stay away from an M5 in that price range cause its gonna have a crapload of miles on it and BMW's are terrible when it comes to reliability, especially the really high end ones. Do some research and see what u like.....4 months is a long time to decide, so use it to see whats out there. I would definitely look into a used Supra, and i think u could find a used Z06 for a good price as well. Just a few more suggestions!

now, with all stupidity asside, it really depends on what you wanna go for, r32 is a nice car, but for what your gonna pay for that car, might as well buy an evo, if going for performace, or even a wrx...

and to be honest i am also in the same boat as you, thinking of selling my car and stepping up to a tl or g35c, or turbo my car, waiting till Oct till i make final decisions but i really can imagine me not driving my lancer i love my car, so we'll see

wow... all you guys say trade the car in... I would too... but I wasn't able to afford the new car payments and insurance. I was in your situation I would go turbo for sure. You'll love your car 20 million times more, and it will be a whole new car afterwards. You'll just want to drive just so you can drive so you can find WRX's out there on the street and kill them.

Man those were the days
