Hobie... good job getting her all up and going, even if only idle that's an accomplishment.
Anyway, you may have issues with the keyless entry if your running AEM. I believe the factory keyless goes thru the ecu. Without the ecu you probably won't be able to use it. Check with OMAR just to make sure but i'm sure the AEM has no provisions for the alarm/locking system on the car.
Let us know how things work out and congrats again.

It used to work fine. It's a recent development, so I doubt it's just related to the EMS by itself. Hopefully tomorrow I'll get my registration, and I'll be good to go.
Just a little street tuning and diagnosis as needed and then down to TurboTrix for some dyno tuning.
EDIT: And I'm an *******...I didn't say thanks. Thank you, Boe and everyone.
Got really swept up between the car and my homework.

Yet another update:
When I was putting everything back together I inspected all my intercooler piping and all the couplings, weld seams etc. to make sure there were no boost leaks coming from there. Well, I found possible weak spots where I may have been leaking boost before. I have a leak tester coming (Yeah, I know I could have built one, but I don't have the time or transportation to get to the hardware store
). So when I was checking everything out I found one hose with a couple minor tears in it. As a very temporary solution I used a soft epoxy to cover the hole and protect against another rip. I just ordered new silicone couplings and reducers to replace all the existing cheap-o turbo hose. On top of that I ordered T-bolt clamps so that I can get rid of the stupid screw type clamps that are a pain in the *** to use and have a tendency to put rips in soft silicone.
If I'm lucky I'll be on the road by tomorrow and able to at least drive, and if I'm very lucky I'll be tuned on Friday.
Wish me luck! I could really use it!

finally andrew, i somehow find vicarious enjoyment out of this considering my similar situation lol. im one of the few that can understand how frustrating its probably been, but on much more of a minor level. i wasnt aware that you didnt have other transportation of your own tho (thank God for girlfriends). really glad to see it up and running, i guess its my turn now then.

Kid Lancer: Coitenly.
rce: Thanks
Mike: I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
GreenPsycho: Yeah, my mind was drawing a blank last night.
This should make removal and reassembly a lot easier too for when I redo my intercooler piping in the future.
03Rally: Thanks.
Z Lancer: Thanks and thanks.
I'll keep y'all updated.
