WOOT! Welcome back. Good luck getting things back together and running. Just a quick question, how long do IC pipe couplers last, and should they be soft, or hard as a rock (like mine are)?

Firm would likely mean better durability. Mine were very thin and very soft. That's pretty much why I'm replacing them. NJMVC can suck my *** for the record. The car is in my father's name (for insurance purposes) and they won't let me renew the registration without a notarized letter giving me power of attourney. That wouldn't be such a big deal either if it weren't for the fact that I had all the information required otherwise, and that I could register it online without that information if I wanted to wait 7-14 days for the registration to come. All sortsa bull****.

Thanks Doug, thanks Jay.

Oh right, there's that whole needing to drive thing. Sucks. I hate it when organizations have you by the ba11s and they know it.

Little did I know, when you move to VA you should get your emissions inspection BEFORE you register. Otherwise they charge you $12 to register for a month while you get your emissions tested. Then you have to go back and pay for a full year, which I think it like $20. Real fair huh?

Hopefully your dad can help you out with power of attorney, then take back the power after you register it.

Well, guilty as charged.

rce - Sure, whatever you say. j/p

I'm in no position to say what they do and do not build/service, especially since they joined up with Jeff Hill of TurboTrix. But Mark, Keither and Junior are awesome guys whom I dealt with back when they were still BM Tranny. Plus they're the only certified EMS technicians/tuners in NJ There are some in queens who are actually geographically closer, but Jersey pride runs deep.

Bagged and boarded in a box, baby! Let's hear it for alliteration!

Fuel tuning is teh sux. I had to redo my entire ignition map just run the car. So basically all my ignition timing is at zero now...which is no good for driving. Once I'm done with my finals and stuff (probably Thursday) I'm going to ahve to spend the whole day driving around making sure I can get the car down to Edison in the first place. As long as I get it close I can either Auto-map while I drive or just put it on O2 feedback. Either is tolerable until I get a real tune, but I need a decent base to start. Booo.

Registered and insured. Once I take my online final, write two papers and post my thesis for my online class...It may just be time for a street tune. Perhaps tomorrow after classes.
