Haha! That is freakin awsome...just saw the post. I go to UTI and most UTI ads in the magazines have the Modern Image/Road Race Lancer featured. There are like 3-4 posters in the school that show the same thing. Go Lancer!

i like it, they do rag on the 4G94 alot, but lets hear them rag after it stomps all over some awd and fr guys, plus the lancer is way too sexy..

They didn't just rag on the engine, they put down the whole car. Exterior and engine.

 

I could give a crap less about someone "ragging" on our car. An article can't change my opinion of my car and how much I love it.

 

It will deffinetly change how other people who read this magazine think about our cars. That might nt mater to some people, but now I can't wait for someone to mention they saw this article to me and then rag on my car also.

but what i take pride in is what it sais...in short..."anyone can get a Evo and make it fast but to make a underpowered car fast is something you should take pride in"

and also what they allways fail to mention in mags like this is the price diff...
lets see...buy a Evo(or any other high hp car)and you make a dent of at min $30,000 in your wallet...at new the Lancer was $15,000 and now you can find them cheaper(first gen ones)at around $8,000 now even with all the work Road///Race would be able to do to make our Lancers that fast i'm sure you are still not over the $30,000 mark.

take pride in the potentional in your car and not what some mag sais because the only Mitsu's they really care about now is the Evo and the new Eclipse (cause its new)

and now maybe others will see what can be done by a good shop and try to give some competition to Road///Race then we will have mor stuff but untill then its all about Road///Race and the quality work and servicethey gladly give to us all

 

bout damn time a "modded' Lancer got up in there! I've been trying forever cause I saw one in there a ways back that was just bone stock and I had some stuff done to mine, but they was hating! Props to Rock and RRM for getting us up in there!!! and furthermore, who gives a crap what they say there are no valid points and from my standpoint the only things that suck about our cars are not flared fenders and the engine, but I love my car at the gas pump and right now, that is all that matters to me and a majority of others, now if gas gets back to where it was like around $1.09-$1.19 then maybe I will change my mind about the whole no go notion that I have at this point, but the car was still in the mag, so it's good with me!

it's hard to believe how harsh they were on the lancer's timid starting point. I don't see them do that with hondas/acuras. Guess they just love them to much.

The car puts up one hell of a show and some great go... keep up the great work RRM.
