Ok i have a few questions on my hands. 1st of all since im getting a SRI for my car does AEM make them for the lancer 02 cause i dont think ive seen any. 2nd i have heard that the K&N Typhoon SRI is crap and leaks..(ive heard) and the AEM is better(if they have one for my car that is.) 3rd what are the best spark plugs for the lancer 02. and finally 4th does anyone else other than RRM make headers for the Lancer 02 oz rally auto? Thank you.

 

all those answers are on here. try searching. everyone has their own opinion, but here's mine. everyone seems to be happy with the injen intake, RRM, and RMR. i have the RMR and i like it alot. Not a big difference between any of them though. kamikaze makes headers i believe, but i would get the rrm ones. as far as plugs go (i maybe wrong), but i dont think there's a big difference between them. i highly doubt you'll see any gains by buying $12 plugs as opposed to $2-4 plugs. I just got BOSH plugs that were like $1.25 each. and as a rule of thumb....everything RRM makes is good so you wont go wrong getting anything from them. try the classifieds on here because people usually sell stuff for good prices. welcome to the boards.

 

run a search on the spark plugs on these boards. There were a few members having big problems with the platinum plugs if I remember correctly.

 

I noticed a smoother idle by using the ngk iridium plugs, maybe a little smoother power band but not very noticeable. I have been extremely satisfied with the Injen CAI and was able to ffel a difference in power and torque.

 

Yes. I'm wondering why we have so many unecessary threads. ALL that information and more can be found with either a forum search (the thread "which header is best" would probably indicate more than one type of header), and/or web searches. As far as intake threads...I think they're the single most popular reposts on these forums. Even more popular than "can i turn my lancer into an evo??????" type threads.
