CAI runs right next to the transmission and along the length of the block. As far as I'm concerned the heat issue is a wash. Besides, when you're moving it's not like they're sitting in still air.

i just installed my RMR intake on friday...the sound is wicked! don't know if it's me...but i think the pick up of the car is much perkier after the install...really good response on accelaration.

if your looking towards a SRI, go with the RMR intake...and also buy it from 3n1motorsports...lowest price i found

i have the RRM SRI and i'm lovin' it...haha...havn't tried any other intakes but i'm satisfied with the zippy sound

put a hummer intake on it. it fits without any modifications
