stock i think the pre-04 lancer is better, but the 04 might have better body kits considering that the grill is not part of the hood.

 

I like the job they made on fenders on the new one.

But thill those headlights are fugly

rhyzin... that's a really good point about the 04 that I haven't heard brought up yet. I think with a body kit, and/or new headlights people will be more than pleased with it. I'm already talkin to the banks and the dealers about financing and figuring that **** out. I think this car is gonna be awesome

 

The curves on the 04 are alot better than the old ones. It is not as boxy as the old ones. Other than I think the front end looks kinda like a sunfire or somthing. But the 04 all the way.

Personally I think the 04 is sweet, but the head light style has to go. It appears that all these new cars are comming with that style ex. Ford Focus, the new Accord. I think they should either keep the original style or go with something more of the Cedia look with projectors. Other then that, the rims are nice, I notice they finally decided to go to 5 lug and actually put some fenders on it. I just may trade mine in for one of those........

 

the 02-03's have sharper lines and seem more aggressive. the 04's a curvy and kinda wimpy looking in comparison. prolly something that can be changed w/ a body kit but hey we're comparing stock for stock right? all the 02 needs is more power like everyone that reviewed it was saying. not a new look.

 

now if someone could just take the 04 fenders and make em to fit the 01-03. that'd be nice....

I like box look better, new car looks like a focus/sunfire generic car

 

new school body styling/bumpers, but old school headlights/grill/everything else. old schoolio fooliozzZZz

 

yea, i agree with Pimpson..i think the hood's slope is too steep comparing and contrasting those two cars gave me a kind of a shock ..lol the 03's front looks so much better!
