Yea they do have a machine that bends it back, but the fram can only be bent a tiny bit. I totaled a car because the frame was bent something like 1/16 of an inch to much... Shows how precise the actual labor must be.

Ususlly structural damage is cause to be "totaled". A bent frame in any way is unsafe.

The dealership said that the car frame being bent is repairable. So there is no way I can get around it, I am stuck with this car. The car will start being torn down next week. It is possible that the car will be deemed totaled when it gets taken apart and there is more structural damaged found. I can only pray that does happen.

Ive been an auto body technician in cople of shops The theary that a car will never drive the same again was true in the day of full frame cars becoase the frame was never ment to move now cars are made unibody whith crumple zones and are easaly puled with aframe machine there is laser measuring systems that can make the perfect with the right person doing it
