Replacing stock bulbs
hey all. srry if this is a repost, i couldnt find anything in my search. that said i need to replace my lights to stock, all of them. i know what sizes to get, but what color are they, are they plain clear or is there a special blue-greenish bulb? also is there anyplace that sells the stock bulb covers for the cluster? thanks
Nick
p.s. the reason im replacing the bulbs is because i got to sell my car before i go off to college. i know this isnt the for sale section, but if ur interested or know anyone interested let me know. thanks again.

I know you can get those little gels for the gauge cluster bulb covers at autozone or advance auto parts.. but as long as the bulbs on the exterior/interior of the car are all working and somewhat the correct color, I doubt someone would even care about that vs. the reliablility of the car when buying. When I buy a car I don't look to see if the bulb is white or hyper-white.. makes no difference to me. Its only pocket change when it comes to replacing it. =/
man, its like nobody leaves there house and looks for anything. They just put a post up on the internet. Here I'll help:
Step 1) Look in your owners manual or the sticky thread about the bulb sizes for the Lancer.
Step 2) Go to any auto parts store and get the corresponding bulbs/gel covers.
Step 3) Install.
Phew,

smoku - thanks man, thats exactly what i needed to know.
arnold16890 - i know it probably doesnt matter, but when people hear that u went tampering around with things in the car they are more than willing to take a couple grand off of the price (well maybe that was an exageration...)
anyway, thanks all for the replies

well u dont have to tell them, and i doubt if they would ask "did u change the headlight bulbs?"
