I would look into a lot of the fuel mods with what you have. Then maybe get a stand alone ECU like the AEM EMS or something.

 

The biggest problem is standalone. It's like a black hole in a wallet. So much tuning and time ............... NO thx.

Engineer yourself a set of straight tooth gears for the trans.. they sound freakin sweet and put more power to the ground with less powertrain loss.
(listen to most rally cars or gt cars, it sounds like a RC car with the plastic straight tooth gears --high pitch whine as you go faster, almost like our reverse gear if you go fast.. especially honda's reverse gear)

 

There is a company just north of toronto that makes them for DSM's.

 

^ Upgraded transmission would definitaly be useful for stage2 turbo and sds guys but you are talking about $$$.

How much is stock trans anyway? If vendors would make a performance tranny close to what the stock one is!!! It could sell, not in hundreds but 5-10 units.

 

If they don't mind shipping it back I'll give them my spare ECU as long as they need it...assuming nobody buys it in the near future.

 

heck yea, they need one. I talked on the phone to them and they sounded pretty serious about it. The brain flash would be similar to the ones they have on the evo. It smooths out the power band and gives a significant power increase.. plus you don't have to worry about modifying wires. I'm sure they would ship it back and even work out a deal for you with some sort of discount.
