I love how the 02-03 Lancer owners are hatin' on the newer models. I like both 02-03 and 04+ models pretty much the same... they both have their advantages.

Stop simply defending the pride of the car YOU have...

I actually get to see the 06 Lancer today at the dealership. I must say, the grill look better in person and the steering wheel look so much better than the previous years. Bumper ain't that bad, it's just the middle part are painted black, just color match and it will look better.

 

It's cause you drive an OZ.

 

Its not that we are just hateing but we are stating what we like and disslike. If you like the license plate in the center of the trunk you like 04-06, or if you like a front that looks like an accord you like 04-06 . the 02-03 look more like an evo, which in the end is what most of us would like to have anyway.

 

I think it looks ugly. The upside down thong matched with the lancers headlights. Now the car just looks like a Ford Focus.

 

I'm not a fan of the front bumper or the headlights. Other than that I think it is alright.

 

I don't think they are ugly,I just don't like the head lights and the front end to much...I prefer the 02-03 front end( and thats not because I have one )I'ts not hating its just you opinion.

exactly. headlights and trunk lid. other then that it looks like a 4 dr sedan...... just like our 02-03's

 

Yup and I actually like 04-05's hood better than 02-03's, both model has pro and con.
