size of muffler

size of muffler

ok i guess this is as goos as anyplace to start. I searched the forum and found nothing so I am hoping that someone has the answer for me. Does anyone know the size of the stock muffler on a es? I was talking to a guy from brospeed and he said that if i had the size of the muffler that he wound be able to match me up with something

why does he need the size of the muffler? sounds a little shady to me. just buy the magnaflow muffler, its pretty cheap and the tip isnt like 4 feet wide like on some other ricers.

If you are gonna go that route, why not just have him do you a custom cat-back? Add an intake and you will open up some air into that es.

did the magna flow replace the dynomax ? cause thats a good and cheap muffler as well

I dunno about the Magna Flow or Dynomax, but on mine I got a Flowmaster put on it. They told me it added 10-15 HP, but I think that is most likely bull. It was only 145 w/ the tip.

Go with the RMR axle back, It may be pricey, but it is RMR. RMR is almost like an svt for ford, or amg for mercedes, and so on. It sounds really nice.

the dynomax muffler i believe comes with the buschur cat back exhaust. the magnaflow come with the RRM axel back exhaust. greddy also has a cat back. IMO the magnaflow with test pipe is best, leaving the resonator on preserves backpressure. thats what the guy at RRM told me...

i have the flowmaster with test pipe and no resonator. i really want to put the resonator back on though. otherwise it kicks ***.
