Good fog lights?
Good fog lights?
My girlfriend just got a 2005 Lancer OZ and it doesn't have fog lights. I would like to get some fog lights for the car that keep a factory look. Nothing ricey. Any recommendations that you have would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Jeremy

I got a set at GI Joes that are about 2.25" in diameter and about 2" deep. they mount in the front mesh if you get some bolts from Home Depot. They were $19. I've had $50 foglights and $75 foglights. Every set has burned out and the bulb swaps were either impossible or so muh hassle that I'd rather buy another set of $19 lights
Which is what I plan to do whenver I get around to it.
So basically, my experience is they're all the same. Take off the back to remove the deflector and you're good to go with a nice wide beam (aim low!
) I also perfer teh simple two wire lights because when they do burn out you can just swap the light and not the whole wiring setup.

I say go to a mitsu dealer and buy the ralliart fog lights to fit right in. nice and clean.
I had some crappy APC fogs on my car, they worked great but my install was crappy. I removed them and want new fogs and do a better job of hiding them behind mesh so its not so "ricey"
I found these projector fogs, never seen them before. anyone know anything about them and if these would be a good buy?

If your looking for a clean, OEM look...well, go OEM. Get that fog light kit from Mitsu. But in my case, I went all-out on some JDM Catz 55w wide-beam driving lights. Just don't expect to be able to read the instructions...all Japanese.

i got oem rallliart fogs on my OZ. looks way cleaner than aftermarket fogs. bought them offf someone for $50. don't buy them from the dealer it will probably cost u an arm and a leg. maybe look for a wrecked RA that is parting out. the RA fogs are 55w and i think the bulb is h2

PIAA makes awesome fogs, although a little pricey. I always wanted a set of these, but never got around to it. I don't think I'll get them this year.. but maybe Christmas or something. Depending on the color of the car, these are pretty small and would fit in the opening with little gaudy visual impact.
