If you do buy an evo, do not buy it from them. Just drive to the next dealership that is decent and it will be worth it.

yeah blaze thanks for the links but they didnt help much......MITSUBISHI IS THE BIGGEST GROUP OF MONEY HUNGRY D ICKS EVER!!!! theyre still saying that it was the rims(even though i bought them at the dealership).... and on top of that they want to charge me to have someone go and look at it to prove to me and honor the magnuson moss act.... even after i brought that up they said "well your the one who took the chance by modding your car"..... theres pretty much nothing i can do without your guys's help.........I WOULD REEEEALLLY APPRECIATE IT if everyone took a few minutes to email mitsubishi and say something like " i heard what happened to my friends car and its horrible customer service, you should fix it" and so on....because now if i have to pay for this than i cant afford an evo because id need to sell the lancer, or if i hire a lawyer thats the downpayment for my evo down the hole... i would help you guys get an evo if i could...so please help me out!!

As much as I sympathize with your problem, do not cross post the same question in 5 different forums. It creates a mess for people who actually want to help you. All cross post are being deleted. Thanks.

Walk in to service, tell the service manager you would like your broken control arm because your attorney is sending it to the National Highway Safety Administration. NHTSA . Tell them you spoke with the NHTSA and they are interested in examining the part. I bet they sing a different tune.

It was something like $2,200. My insurance went up 180% after it happened. Thats with no prior accidents, or any moving violations in 6 years. I should have gotten it done else where but it was already towed($300.00) there so there wasn't much choice.

I'm not sure about service there but the sales manager and the salesman I talked to are tools. Seriously, after talking to them I didn't even want to buy a lancer but Renner ended up matching the offer and they were really straight foward about the sales end of it.

The service department wants nothing to do with aftermarket parts, which is a shame, I don't really want to keep mine stock, but I don't want to loose a warranty 1 month in.
