i know they say the body is different but looking at it i can find the difference. other than the hood and altezza lights... no fmic... but is ther a actual difernece in the lines? theoretically one could put the gsr hood on that nd it would look the same, no?

Holy ****, that car is terrible. No way do I want an Evo now... I can't believe they messed up the 7 so much... my Lancer looks better than that!!! WTF could they possibly have been thinking??!?! Oh lord, please deliver us from this wretched evil known as Mitsu.

Don't want to sound alarmist or anything, but when I was in the market for an E7 3 months back, was told that Mitsubishi had stopped producing them and was retooling the line for the GT-A and E8 (supposed to be out beginning 2003 and rumoured to have a 6-speed box like the STi). However, this may only be for RHD cars.

I would not worry, if the US does not get the E7 but the GT-A, it should surely get the E8.

Actually True, there is an FMIC...they are just to stupid because they covered it up with the license plate . people that love the evo would take the plate off anyways, but it's still a crappy version of the wonderful evo line.

so you are saying the liscence plate is the only exterior difference aside from the hood?

What worries me is that so many vendors use that same pic of that yellow Evo so its hard to determine what their product really looks like. Has anyone bought a rear bumper from Duraflex?
