I was looking into a cf trunk for my 2004 lancer es and all i found have the cut in it so the license plate can mount there. My question is will a 03-02 or evo trunk bolt on? If they do will a 03-02 back bumber bolt on so i can mount the license plate?(Ive searched but i havent found any thing)

 

the back bumper, tail lights, and trunk should fit as a set if all the bolt holes are the same between the 2 models. so if that's true, if you get one, you have to get all 3.

 

it'd be nice if someone made a smooth lookn insert ant then a bracket for the bumper like the front bumper. i don't think on '03 bumper would look good on the '04

 

I just said a 03 bumber because if i get a 04 i will have 2 license plate areas. that would not look that good if u ask me.

 

i wouldnt think that it would fit. the 02-03 are much more boxy and several of the exterior dimensions have been changed. if it did fit, it would look out of place because of the shape of the 04+ compared to the 02-03.

most things dont fit the 04-05 if made for the 02-03. probably the only thing that would fit is short ram intakes, exhausts

 

^^^ not even exhausts, the 04+ is a couple inches longer than the 02-03, so you would have to extend the length of the b-pipe.
